Edith Wild was born in western New York into a family of readers. She is a graduate of the SUNY university system, majored in anthropology, minored in English. Professionally she worked in public relations before becoming a highly qualified English teacher, and has taught for seventeen years. She has written numerous Grantville Gazette stories with her co-writer, Jack Carroll, earning a small page at isfdb.org. She is pleased to have Love and Chemistry published in 2017, as the first novel. The book was originally published as the Undergraduate in the Grantville Gazette as a six part serial. The story is also part of Eric Flint’s 1632 Ring of Fire books. Ms. Wild is currently writing more Gazette short stories and is working on a stand-alone science fiction novel.
